UKCP has moved to York House, 221 Pentonville Road, London N1 9UZ. We are updating the address listed in all our documents, please bear with us as we make these changes.
I always work collaboratively: I see clients essentially as the experts in their difficulties, and myself as a guide using creative and educational ways to address and unravel problems at a comfortable pace and in a compassionate, safe setting. I use a variety of techniques according to the needs of clients, tailoring approaches that I feel are best suited to them.
I am a senior accredited psychosexual psychotherapist with COSRT (the college of sexual and relationship therapists) trained in counselling and human sexuality. I really value working with individuals and couples as we explore difficulties and/or sexual problems that are brought to sessions. I have worked for more than 30 years in private practice and (until recently) in the NHS where I set up a psychosexual clinic in a local hospital. I have seen people with a wide range of sexual difficulties as well as couples who are experiencing problems in their relationships. Each person is different and special, and I feel honoured to be able to work towards the goals and desires that are brought to therapy.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
