I have special interest and experience of working with clients who have been adopted and those who are care experienced, with blended and step-families, with bereavement and loss and with the LGBTQ+ & trans communities.
Sessions can integrate body techniques, & use of images &/or objects to support process & expression, especially when words are hard to find.
I have over 25 years’ clinical experience working therapeutically with a diverse range of individuals, couples and families. I have worked in NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), for over ten years, the charitable sector working with children at risk of exclusion and their families in schools & I currently work in an inner London local authority children's services where I work with care experienced children and young people, and their families and professional networks.
I am a qualified supervisor, and regularly supervise and teach in my current role, working with systemic trainees and social workers.
I am fully qualified in Systemic Couple & Family Psychotherapy (MA), and Art Psychotherapy (MA). I am a qualified supervisor & EMDR Practitioner.
