UKCP has moved to York House, 221 Pentonville Road, London N1 9UZ. We are updating the address listed in all our documents, please bear with us as we make these changes.
My approach is referred to as 'Systemic Psychotherapy'. I am also a Systemic Supervisor (since 2012). Most often I am called a 'Family Therapist' as the system I tend to work most with is the family. However I work will all systems, teams, couples, organisations and the individual with the systems they live with informing my approach. I am trauma informed and attachment focused, with a current interest in Internal Family Systems.
I have worked in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) since 1999. Initially as a Psychiatric Nurse and from 2008 as a Systemic Psychotherapist. I am also a qualified Systemic Supervisor (2012) offering professionals and colleagues clinical supervision. I work with a wide range of emotional and/or relational problems, risks and difficulties. I believe that relationships can be a resource to recovery and that problems are best understood within the contexts they develop and appear. I currently work as an inpatient Systemic Psychotherapist on an adolescent ward and have my own private clinical practice at Therapytogether.co.uk.
This member has completed UKCP Covid-19 Online Working Guidance.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
