I have 17 years experience working across a number of settings - NHS, charity sector and private practice. As an Integrative Psychotherapist I draw upon key elements of the latest neuroscience, combined with attachment theory, humanistic and psychodynamic therapies, CBT, somatic approaches and EMDR. With access to a wide range of tools and experience I am better able to specifically tailor the psychotherapy to one's individual needs. My consulting room is equipped with the materials to work creatively, which may suit some.
Whilst I have experience working with a wide range of mental health / relationship difficulties, I have specialist knowledge in the following areas: trauma, addictions, eating related issues, bereavement/loss and working with young people/young adults.
My style is collaborative, joining the benefit of my experience and expertise with my clients’ self-awareness, and empowering so they are well equipped to deal with challenges long after the therapy has ended.
Qualifications:
MA Integrative Psychotherapy
BSC (hons) Psychology
Diploma in Clinical Supervision
My premises is in a quiet part of the centre of Nottingham and on site parking is available.
I offer a free initial phone / online consultation (up to 20 minutes) where I can answer any questions you may have.
