My approach aligned with systemic psychotherapy reflective practise.
I describe my approach as collaborative, relational using systemic models of intervention as appropriate/needed or requested.
I am a systemic family psychotherapist with over 30 years experience of working with children young people and their families. I am recently retired from my position as clinical lead in NHS and working in private practise.
I have experience of working therapeutically with couples, foster carers as well as groups including adults working in the therapeutic field.
I have experience in working with a range of issues such as: low mood, anxiety, conflict, disordered eating, neurodiversity, problematic relational/ communication issues and those associated with identity.
I have experience of working with adoptive carers and adults adopted as children.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
