I can offer highly specialist assessments, consultations and treatment/interventions that help those I am working with to begin to make sense of difficult experiences that may have happened in the past and how the survival strategies they developed to help survive in a dangerous environment or in response to trauma were brilliantly effective then, but may be getting in the way of living the life they really want to, having the relationships they would most like to have or accessing education/work that feels meaningful.
- working with parents (adopted/step/grandparents/foster carers) who are struggling to find ways to connect, challenge or repair relationships with their children at any stage of life. I have additional training in trauma, attachment-based family therapy (ABFT) and Non-violent Resistance (NVR) and use these lenses in much of the work I do.
- working with couples who are struggling with their relationship in any aspect; this includes intimacy and sexual relationship, past traumas and how these can pop up and interfere with relationship dynamics, considering children and supporting them through separation and divorce, differences in parenting styles and approaches.
- working with individuals or families around whatever they feel the issues are that brought them to seek therapeutic support in a creative way using evidence informed approaches from therapy, neuroscience and my own experiences as a therapist over the past 15 years.
I also work closely with companies/individuals in professional contexts, offering organisational consultancy and am an accredited systemic supervisor who has taken a number of trainees to qualification, as well as offering supervision of private practice.

I an experienced Consultant Systemic Psychotherapist with over 15 years of clinical experience working in a variety of settings including NHS community mental health services, mental health charities and inpatient units.
I currently work for NHS CAMHS three days a week as the Clinical Lead and Consultant Systemic Psychotherapist for the Trauma Pathway/Service and two day a week doing teaching, consultation, supervision and therapy online or in person in my clinic room in Oxford.
Whilst I am able to work with a broad range of presenting difficulties I specialise in working with Trauma/Complex Trauma and Attachment and how they impact throughout different stages of life, and impact across relationships including parent or carer and child relationships, couple/intimate partner relationships and broader family systems or even work contexts.
As some of mixed heritage (White British - Romani), I prioritise working in anti-racist, anti-oppressive way, and always welcome people who need a space to talk about experiences of discrimination or prejudice. I am committed to my own learning about privilege and continual developing my practice in this area.
I speak Spanish fluently as well as English and am always happy to consider working with interpreters for other languages. I am also committed to making adjustments to my clinic space or way of working to accommodate any physical disabilities, neurodiversity or learning needs.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
