I started my psychotherapy journey more than 15 years ago. I first came to psychotherapy as a client trying to find answers to so many questions. This experience changed my life and brought me to a new career path.
I am an integrative psychotherapist which means I combine different psychotherapeutic modalities including analytic, existential and humanistic, depending on my client’s situation. Currently, I have a particular interest in the relationships people have with themselves and with others. I believe that a lot of human suffering comes from experiences obtained in relationships and therefore can be healed in those relationships.
I provide a safe and confidential space where trusting relationships between client and therapist can be nurtured to facilitate change. Research suggests that therapeutic relationships are the most important contributing factor to successful therapy.
I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling and an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy from Regents University, London. I have also completed a Doctorate in psychology at the National Academy of Internal Affairs, Ukraine.
I have previous experience working for the NHS and in a women’s charity in Camden as well as private practice.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
