My Approach

Are you feeling stuck in negative thought patterns, overwhelmed by stress, or disconnected from your partner? Life’s challenges can become heavy, and it’s common to feel unsure about how to move forward.

You don’t have to navigate this alone. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, relationship issues, low self-esteem, or the pressure of a demanding job, I offer a calm, supportive space where you can gain clarity, feel understood, and start making meaningful changes.

I offer nationwide online therapy as well as in-person sessions. My physical practice is based in Haymarket, Edinburgh, easily accessible by public transport with free parking available, but many clients choose to work with me online for convenience and flexibility.

Individual therapy:
£60 per 50-minute session
A warm, grounded space to talk openly and explore what’s holding you back
Ideal for anxiety, stress, low mood, relationship difficulties, and personal development

Couples therapy:
Initial session: 90 minutes
Follow-up sessions: 75 minutes
Fee: £75 per hour
Space to understand your relationship dynamics, reduce conflict, build communication skills, and restore closeness
Whether online or in-person, sessions are collaborative, paced at your comfort level, and designed to help you gain insight, reconnect with yourself, and create lasting change.

If you’re ready to take a step towards a healthier life or a more connected relationship, I’d be glad to support you.

About Me

I’m Leslie — a UKCP-accredited psychotherapist and qualified counsellor, with extensive postgraduate training, rigorous clinical supervision, and a commitment to high professional and ethical standards. You can feel confident that you’re working with someone skilled, experienced, and deeply dedicated to your wellbeing.

Having lived in Malaysia, the US, and now the UK, I work sensitively with cultural identity, life transitions, and the challenges of living or working abroad. Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years in Financial Services, giving me first-hand insight into stress, burnout, and high-pressure corporate environments.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I am passionate about supporting couples who want to improve communication and deepen their connection. I have specialised training in the Baden-Pearson Developmental Couples Counselling Model, which allows me to be both directive and supportive as we explore patterns, resolve conflicts, and help you grow as partners.
I have a special interest in working with individuals experiencing eating disorders and want to get better, shaped by both lived experience as a family member of someone who had anorexia and professional experience in this area. These experiences have deepened my empathy, insight, and commitment to providing compassionate, informed support to those affected by eating disorders and their families.
