My Approach

Different perspectives start with self-reflection, awareness and insight which can then begin the process of change. Add new knowledge, a vision for something new and a willingness to risk experimenting and movement away from repetitive patterns to new ways of being can be found.
I trained as a Transpersonal Psychotherapist, however the Systemic Skills I acquired are strongly integrated into my work.

About Me

I have spent the last thirty years reflecting on relationships. This begins with the relationship you have with yourself as that impacts what you then take to any other relationship.
I began working at Women's Aid and Rape Crisis as a Psychotherapist and then a Supervisor. I learnt a lot about the mis-use of power and the impact of trauma to the sense of self.
I then trained in Systemic Skills for two years and became part of the Family Therapy Team in the NHS for seven years.
I have also been part of The Adolescent Support Clinic that supports people in schools to meet distress in young people.
I am all about connecting, attuned and healthy relationships.
I currently work with couples, individuals and provide Supervision for other Counsellors. A lot more information can be found on my website.
