I believe we all need human connection. Speaking from my own experience, these connections, or relationships, can give us the greatest joys and difficulties in our lives. Therefore at the heart of my therapeutic approach is the relationship between you as the client, and me as your therapist.
I provide a non-judgmental, safe and confidential space where I focus on helping you to better understand your feelings and behaviours, and also recognise the negative patterns that may be affecting how you live your life. This will support you as you find new ways of living and develop more fulfilling relationships. I support people dealing with a range of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, anger, suicidal feelings, bereavement and loss.
As a qualified integrative psychotherapist (UKCP and MBACP), I use a range of different counselling skills and theories to tailor how I support you depending on your needs, requests and goals for therapy.
I have many years of experience of working with people in a variety of settings including the NHS, low-cost counselling services, supported housing services, private practice and charities.
