My Approach

I will support you to make sense of the challenges and struggles you are facing in your life and relationships, whether with family, a partner, colleagues, or friends. I believe we evolve through relationships. How we think, feel, and act as adults often comes from our childhood, our relationships, and the experiences we have had or missed. Together, we will explore how your past continues to shape your thoughts, feelings, and actions in the present. Sometimes, unexpected emotions or thoughts might come up, but these moments can help you understand your patterns and fears as you become more aware of yourself.

In our sessions, we will also look at your values, beliefs, and hopes, as well as how you view yourself and the world you live in from a cultural, political, and social perspective. Therapy can help you develop self-awareness, discover who you are, and explore new ways of connecting with yourself and others. It is not about giving advice, but about working through challenges together, which can take time. You may begin to let go of what holds you back, find a new direction, and discover new meaning in your life.

Sometimes it is hard to put feelings into words, so I also offer sand play or creative activities like drawing to help you express yourself. I may use body-based approaches, such as mindfulness, breathing or movement, to help you notice sensations and feelings.

About Me

I’m a down-to-earth female integrative psychotherapist offering a safe, confidential space so you can share your story and explore what is troubling you in life. I support people dealing with bereavement, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, abuse, existential life questions, trauma, redundancy, and relationship challenges. People often come to me when they feel stuck, are grieving or struggle with self-worth.

I offer in-person therapy near Crystal Palace/Anerley in south east London. I also offer online therapy across the UK.
Originally from the North East, I have lived in London for over 15 years. My former work life was in commercial marketing in the tourism and entertainment sectors.
