Dr Laine Jaderberg is the clinical lead for the Parent Child Clinic. She is a fully qualified and registered Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist. Laine's Doctoral (D Psych Prof) research focused on parent-child psychotherapy and has produced the VPT model for psychotherapy - the Vital Parenting Tasks. Laine is registered with UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) and BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), a Senior Associate of the Royal Society of Medicine and was recently invited to be a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (contribution to creative psychological therapy and research).
Laine's clinical experience includes work with children, adolescents, families, individuals and couples in primary care (GP surgeries); NHS, including CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services); NHS adult and young adult in-patient secure units; state and private schools and in private practice. Laine's special interests are working with intergenerational trauma, parent-child psychotherapy, twins, psychosomatic medicine and complex cases. She also has a special interest in working with creative arts, in particular music and painting.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
