I am a Psychodrama Psychotherapist, and have long term experience working with people who have survived trauma, either in their early lives, or still ongoing.
Being a psychodramatist means I will use talking and creative action methods, such as working with small objects, or assisting you to explore aspects of yourself with the help of methods drawn from the theatre. I am also EMDR trained and would employ a mix of action methods and EMDR, as well as talking, depending on what you would find the most helpful. I would start off with a short term approach to work, ie 6-12 sessions for example and then contract with you for longer should this be useful to you.
I have worked, since 1998, in the NHS, privately, and for charities mainly with people who have been labelled personality disordered and asylum seekers and refugees. I work as a group therapist and one to one therapist, and am a Psychodrama Psychotherapist for Groups and Individuals.
I can work online or face to face, and am also a qualified supervisor.
