With over 35 years of experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist, I am passionate about empowering both adults and children through a creative, humanistic approach. I offer tailored psychotherapy sessions, facilitate dynamic supervision groups, lead engaging training sessions, and provide dedicated practice support days and individual supervision. My practice spans both welcoming indoor spaces and the transformative power of natural outdoor environments.
My extensive background includes work in therapeutic communities, children’s homes, women’s refuges, and specialist trauma services. As a Certified Transactional Analyst (CTA) with a Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst (TSTA) qualification, I am also an experienced lecturer dedicated to sharing knowledge and developing professionals in the field. I have a particular interest and expertise in supporting creative and neurodivergent individuals of all ages.
I am delighted to announce that I am now resuming animal-assisted psychotherapy outdoors with my new canine assistant-in-training, Willow. Willow is a Bedlington Whippet lurcher, and from the end of September, she will be joining me for all outdoor sessions, bringing her gentle presence and unique energy to our therapeutic work.
