UKCP has moved to York House, 221 Pentonville Road, London N1 9UZ. We are updating the address listed in all our documents, please bear with us as we make these changes.
I am a trained Psychodynamic Psychotherapist with experience of working in organisations and in private practice. I have worked with people of all backgrounds experiencing a wide range of problems including anxiety, bereavement, cultural issues, depression, eating disorders, low self-esteem, relationship issues, sexual difficulties and trauma.
With a special interest in identity, gender and sexuality I provide a safe and non-judgemental space to explore any difficulties clients may bring. These can be explored more in depth in open-ended therapy or with a special focus in short-term therapy (up to 12 sessions).
Besides working in private practice, I am also an Associate Counsellor at the Royal College of Art Counselling Service.
I suggest meeting for an initial consultation where you can get a sense of what working together feels like, and if it's the right decision for you at this time. We might meet for 2 initial consultations (50 minutes each) before committing to working together.
Fees for sessions are between £75 - £95 (50 minutes) depending on your circumstances and frequency of sessions (once or twice weekly) and will be discussed during our initial consultation. I am committed to offering a few places on a reduced fee for students or those on a lower income (subject to availability). Also, I am registered with Aviva, AXA PPP health care and Vitality Health private insurance providers.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
