My Approach

I help clients often between the ages of 22-45 who are struggling with issues around bereavement, trauma and low self-esteem. I have helped previous clients weather the storm of grieving, reduce the potency of traumatic triggers and work to improve self-esteem and their relationships by making better, more aligned choices in their lives. I work Monday - Thursday in person and online and I am based in Putney and Clapham Junction.

Good therapy can be life-changing. Taking the step to invest in your well-being is a wonderful way to take responsibility for your life, and positively impact those around you. Even if you’ve experienced deep hardship, there is always potential for life to improve. Many of the limitations we face can be shifted through changes in perception, reflection, and self-understanding.

Our sessions aim to understand what your experience means, and from there we can discuss deeper patterns of behaviour or processing that could be altered to improve symptoms, triggers or pain.

I hope to ensure our sessions are both effective and meaningful. Whether we're addressing specific goals or exploring deeper issues, our shared effort is essential for creating change.

Seeking help when life feels overwhelming is a brave step, and in our sessions, we'll work at a pace that suits you. You won’t be facing your challenges alone—we’ll tackle them together in a safe and non-judgmental space.

Good therapy can truly transform your life. Investing in your well-being is a wonderful way to take charge of your life and positively influence those around you.
No matter what you've been through, your life always can improve. Often, shifting your perspective and gaining deeper understanding can help you overcome many difficulties.

By combining Integrative and Existential approaches, I use a range of techniques to best support your needs. My priority is to ensure our sessions are both effective and meaningful. Whether we're addressing specific goals or exploring deeper issues, our collaboration is essential for achieving the results you want. The integrative approach helps me choose the best methods for you, while the existential perspective ensures I practice ethically, respecting your freedom and autonomy.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

Working with anxiety involves providing you with a supportive environment to explore and manage your worries and stress. Together, we’ll identify the sources of your anxiety, develop practical coping strategies, and work on techniques to build calm and resilience. My goal is to help you understand and address your anxiety in a way that restores your sense of control and well-being, allowing you to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and ease.
Finding the right compassionate support during one of life’s most challenging times is so important in processing feelings of loss. Grief can feel overwhelming and isolating, but I provide a safe, understanding space to process your emotion, honour your loved one, and navigate the complexities of loss. My approach is tailored to your unique experience, helping you find a path forward at your own pace. Grief is not a linear process, but a dynamic experience where emotions can surge unpredictably, influencing how one copes with loss. My approach acknowledges the importance of expressing these emotions to facilitate healing. Together, we’ll work to find comfort, understanding, and a sense of hope as you rebuild your life.
Working with EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) involves using a structured approach to help you process and heal from traumatic memories and distressing experiences. Through guided bilateral stimulation, we’ll work to reprocess these memories, reducing their emotional charge and helping you develop healthier responses. EMDR is designed to facilitate healing by enabling you to integrate and make sense of difficult experiences, leading to greater emotional relief and personal growth. I am in the middle of training in EMDR and as such any clients interested in EMDR will receive a discount while I am training.
Working with trauma involves creating a safe and supportive space to gently explore and process your experiences. Together, we’ll work through the impact of trauma, addressing both the emotional and psychological effects. My goal is to help you build resilience, develop coping strategies, and move towards healing at your own pace. With compassion and understanding, we’ll work to restore your sense of safety and empower you to reclaim control over your life.
