My Approach

I offer a confidential place for those navigating high levels of pressure, responsibility, and expectation. Many of the clients I work with are outwardly capable and performing, yet feel overwhelmed and strained.

My work supports those experiencing stress, burnout, self-doubt, or significant personal and professional transitions. This may include professionals in demanding roles, as well as older adolescents and students in high-achieving academic environments. I am an empathetic, attuned, and experienced practitioner, and my approach is discreet, responsive, and non-judgemental.

I encourage you to take time in finding a therapist with whom you feel a sense of trust and connection as the quality of the therapeutic relationship is central to meaningful change.

I work with individuals aged 16 and over.

Please feel free to contact me by email to arrange an initial consultation.

About Me

I am a dual US-UK citizen and spent many years working in a demanding corporate environment prior to training as a psychotherapist. Having lived and worked in the UK for over 22 years, as well as abroad, I bring a considered understanding of the psychological pressures that can arise across professional, cultural, and personal contexts.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I work with anxiety that often arises under pressure, responsibility, or high expectations, and may include persistent worrying, internal tension, or feeling overwhelmed despite appearing to function well.
It is not uncommon to doubt oneself or to question one's life choices, particularly where these are shaped by high achievement or expectation.
Work demands or academic pressures often spill into home life, creating strain, stress, and tension both internally and within relationships.
This includes sleep disruption, chronic stress, burnout, and the cumulative impact of sustained professional or academic demands.
I work with individuals in demanding professional environments, often experiencing high performance pressure, responsibility, and complex decision-making.
