Hello, I'm Kasia, a qualified psychotherapist and HCPC registered clinical&counselling psychologist working with clients in person and online.
I provide a safe and non-judgmental space where we can explore your needs and concerns. I believe that the therapeutic relationship lies at the heart of any healing process from which a deep change can occur. We will work together to discover the root causes of your difficulties, identify your resources and take steps towards your desired goals. I will be alongside you, helping you to gain a better understanding of yourself and develop ways of relating that enhance everyday life.
I can help with a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, addiction, codependency, bereavement, trauma, low self-esteem, existential issues, perinatal mental health, illness and disability, loneliness and identity issues. I am interested in how our early experiences and relationships influence us in our present.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I trained as a psychologist in Poland and afterwards worked on voluntary education projects in Denmark and Vietnam. I draw on my own experience of migration to working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and race.
I developed my therapeutic and clinical experience in the UK working for charitable organisations such as EACH Counselling&Support and Ealing Abbey Counselling Service, for education sector as a university counsellor for Royal School of Speech and Drama, for a polish charity organisation in London and in private practice.
I have extensive experience supporting people with neurological conditions, brain injuries and their families.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
