My Approach

I have developed an approach to Relational Body Work within an Integrative Gestalt and Relational Psychoanalytic frame which I have taught, presented internationally and written about in various publications.

About Me

I am a psychologist, psychotherapist, trainer, visiting tutor, supervisor and consultant with over 35 years of experience. As an Accredited Psychotherapist with the UKCP and as German State licensed Psychological Psychotherapist, I hold the highest qualifications to practice as a psychotherapist in both countries. I have offered culture sensitive and body oriented ONLINE psychotherapy for many years.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

For 12 years I have lived and worked in different countries. The experiences I have made still guide me to be aware of cultural issues. I have published about these themes.
In 2002 I qualified as supervisor at the University of Birmingham, U.K. Since then, I have enjoyed to offer supervision with different foci as for example: body-processes in therapy, what do bodies say without speaking, the role of culture in therapy, trauma, self-care and self-support of therapist, exploring creative ways, the importance of the Here-and-Now-field mirroring the cocreated field between supervised and client. I have developed a method of Moving Supervision which I have presented internationally and written about. In the many years I have offered supervision, my main focus has been on creating a non-judgmental, open space in which dialogue and learning can happen.
I am the Founder and Director of the Training Series Relational Living Body Psychotherapy which have been running for many years. For many years, I have been visiting various international Psychotherapy Training Instituts.
