I am an integrative therapist and draw on a number of different approaches to suit you. For adults, these might be talk-based, but some also like to use creative approaches like art therapy, imagery work or sandtray. My work with children informs much of my adult work; as patterns set in childhood can impact us as adults, perhaps unconsciously, in ways that aren’t always helpful.
Having a confidential, impartial, safe, empathic and non-judgemental space to explore difficult experiences and emotions can be incredibly helpful. My job is not to tell you how to think or feel, but to support you to find your own solutions. We will both be active participants in helping you explore, process and heal from difficult experiences, and to maximise your wellbeing and potential.
I am a counsellor / psychotherapist, and EMDR practitioner.. I work with adults, children and young people on a one to one basis, either face to face or online. I aim to make the therapeutic experience as easy as possible, from start to finish. You might be looking to access therapy if you feel that you could be mentally healthier, or if you feel out of alignment. Or you may have long standing and more complex issues, or trauma, which you want help to resolve. Alternatively, you may be concerned about a young person in your care. I work with clients from the age of 4, and my oldest has been 87 - it is never too late to benefit.
