Relational Integrative
I offer a safe and supportive space to explore issues that may be troubling you and/or which you feel may be preventing you from living your life as fully as you would like. Maybe you feel that you are struggling or that you do not know where to turn. I will invite you to bring your feelings, thoughts and concerns so that we can work collaboratively to understand better what is happening in your life today and perhaps how previous events and patterns may be affecting you. I will neither judge nor direct you but will offer a relationship with empathy and active engagement.
I work with a range of emotional and relationship issues including depression, anxiety, bereavement, loss, abuse, parenting difficulties, work stress, miscarriage, infertility, life transitions, low self-esteem, conflicted relationships with food and discomfort with body image.
In our initial appointment we can discuss your hopes and expectations and also whether it is appropriate for us to work for a fixed number of sessions or in a more open-ended manner.
I am a psychotherapist with an MA and an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from The Minster Centre and I am a registered member of both the BACP and the UKCP. Alongside my private practice I have worked with a wide range of clients in different settings, including the NHS, further education and voluntary agencies. As a registered member of the UKCP, I abide by their ethical framework
