My Approach

I have worked in the fields of psychotherapy and counselling for over 25 years. I have worked in both public and private sector organisations, These include the NHS, Cruse Bereavement Care, the Home Office , and the Mulberry Centre for cancer patients and their dependants. I currently work for Klearminds as a consultative psychotherapist where I work with city based clients. I am also a supervisor for the Integrated Neurological Services where I supervise new and qualified therapists. Additionally I also supervise therapists who are in private practice. I am an external examiner for Kingston college on their degree counselling courses.

I also maintain a private practice and have my own therapy and consultancy agency called Azalea Therapy and Consultancy services. I work with clients 1:1, with couples and with groups. I am a professionally qualified trainer and undertake bespoke training for a range of organisations including stress management and suicide prevention training. iI am also an experienced international mediator.

I am an integrative psychotherapist having trained in psychodynamic, gestalt and body centred psychotherapy.

About Me

I have a first degree in psychology from London university. I have undertaken specialist therapy training in bereavement with Cruse Bereavement Care. I have extensive experience of working with addictions through my work with the I-Hear agency.

I have a post graduate qualification in psychotherapy and additional qualifications in couples therapy ( PAIRS), group and I;1 therapy. I am also a qualified mindfulness practitioner and incorporate this into my therapy work when it is appropriate to do so.

I have extensive experience of working with clients with anxiety, depression, trauma and anger management.

I am also an active member of UKAHPP where I reaccredit new and experienced therapists.
I am a member of the BACP, UKCP and AHPP.
