My Approach

I am a Certified Transactional Analyst (CTA), UKCP registered Psychotherapist, Tutor, Supervising Transactional Analyst (STA) and Couples and Relationships Therapist.
I have 25 years experience as a psychotherapist.
I deliver training at different psychotherapy institutes in London and Brighton and provide support as a Critical Incident Responder for events such as terrorist attacks, death in service and more recently supporting families in Israel and Palestine.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I run psycho-educational groups for couples as well as working individually with them since 2003. I have run training for psychotherapists working in this field since 2018.
I currently work as Facebook and Meta's onsite psychotherapist (since 2016) and have been the clinical supervisor at London Friend, Freedom From Torture and other organisations in and around London. I have been a consultant for the Home Office and Cabinet Office on Mental Health strategies and Employee Assistance Programs provisions. I have managed two Employee Assistance Programs based in London. I have worked as an on-site critical incident responder for over twenty years, working on national and international terrorist attacks, as well as traumatic events in London. More recently I have acted as a Trauma Consultant and delivered staff training for the National Theatre and London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) amongst others to support them in putting up plays and events involving traumatic content.
I worked as the Chief Executive of a cancer counselling charity and have since worked with bereavement and end of life support for patients, friends and family. This has involved onsite work in hospitals and hospices as well as running group support.
I have worked as a teacher and trainer at different London institutes including Metanoia, TA East, Connexus and CPPD since 2014. I train in Transactional Analysis, Humanistic and Integrative therapies, delivering the MSc trainings Private training for therapists include couples and relationship therapy training, trauma training, critical incident training, finding meaning in mid-life and working at the edge.
