I am qualified as an integrative psychotherapist, psychoanalytic psychotherapist and clinical supervisor. I am also an experienced facilitator of professional reflective practice groups working in mental health settings.
I worked for many years in London and Northern Ireland in statutory mental health and community forensic services prior to moving into private practice as a psychotherapist and clinical supervisor. I have MSc degrees in Integrative Psychotherapy, Clinical and Theoretical Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, and Health Sciences (Forensic Mental Health). I also have a PhD in Psychoanalytic Studies (University of Essex). My doctoral thesis focused upon the neglected role played by heterodox spiritualities in the formation of psychoanalysis, a revised version of which was subsequently published as a book. I additionally have a Diploma in Advanced Reflexive Supervision.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
