My Approach

My approach is integrative which means I support you using a blend of modern therapeutic and more traditional approaches.

I offer counselling from two locations, both beautiful, calming consulting rooms in north London, or you can see me online.

Adults of all ages, backgrounds, cultures, sexuality and gender identity are welcome.

About Me

I’m Jo, an integrative psychotherapist. I provide a welcoming, safe space to explore personal difficulties, break old habits and navigate life’s transitions.

My qualification is a five-year Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling from the Minster Centre in London, one of the most respected therapy training institutions in the UK. I also have an MA in Psychotherapy and a BA Hons in Psychology.

As well as running a private practice, I am the regular podcast host for a national mental health charity, where leading experts tell me about their clinical work and the latest in evidence-based research.

I have also worked as a volunteer counsellor for Mind and a large group psychotherapy practice in central London.

I work according to the UKCP’s code of ethics. I am also a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
