My Approach

I use the creative arts in my approach and well as talking; this includes artwork, drama, music, stories and poems. I also use sandtray and sensory interventions. I provide parent sessions to help them understand their child's needs and help them think about how they can meet them.

About Me

I am a child psychotherapist with over 30 years experience of working therapeutically with children, young people and their families. I approach each child and young person as a unique individual and consider what particular interventions may be helpful for them. My aim is to empower children and young people on their own therapeutic journey. I believe that every child and young person has the capacity to recover from the impact of challenging or negative life experiences; to grow develop and achieve their full potential.
