I practice at The Family Treatment Service where I see adults and children with Eating Disorders, Couples and Families for Family Therapy.
I have a collaborative evidence based warm approach and enjoy working with people to meet their goals.
Jemma is a systemic psychotherapist with over ten years experience working across multiple private and NHS settings. She has worked across a variety of Mental Health settings including The National Adult Eating Disorder Service where she was trained in the New Maudsley Method by Dr Janet Treasure. Most recently she was employed as a Highly Specialist Systemic Psychotherapist at the National Child and Adolescent Eating Disorder Inpatient Service. She has been practicing privately for four years seeing individuals, families and couples and does one day a week in the inpatient CAMHS service at the Priory Roehampton. Jemma has undertaken Emotion Focused Therapy training under Dr Greenberg and enjoys running an Emotion Focused Skills Workshop she has developed with the founder of the model.
Jemma founded The Family Treatment Service in 2021 after the birth of her third child. She wanted to create a place where people could access experts in mental health in a welcoming environment, and where consultants were proud to work.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
