My approach is predominantly systemic, which means that I work with people to understand and improve their relationships and connections between themselves and others. I will provide a safe and non-judgmental space to explore patterns within your current and past relationships. A systemic approach would see the emotions you are feeling as rooted within your past and present relationships and the contexts you find yourself in. I will help you explore how to re-connect with your existing resources and strengths to make helpful change.
I am a systemic psychotherapist working with individuals, families, young people and couples. I have a particular interest and expertise in working with couples and have 10 years of experience working at Relate. I work in private practice and I also work with families in an eating disorders service in the NHS.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
