About Me

I am a UKCP Registered and Accredited Psychotherapist and have a private practice in East London . I have 20 years experience working in Mental health, Disability and Trauma settings. I am Also a EMDR therapist.

As a Psychotherapist and counsellor I have extensive experience working in a mental health counselling service. I have worked in a hospice offering support to those with life limiting illnesses and also bereavement and pre bereavement counselling to family members who have lost or are loosing someone. I also worked in a domestic violence service. Currently as well as my private practice I work in a London University as a therapist for students. I offer Long or short term contracts. I usually see clients once a week. Sometimes two or three times.

People come for therapy for a range of reasons. Sometimes the issue may be very clear. Sometimes it may not be so easy to pinpoint. Something might just not feel right. Something may feel unfulfilled or aspects of life feel difficult, painful and hard to express or share with close ones. It may be something that you have felt stuck with, a behaviour or pattern of relationship. My role is to support you in understanding and exploring such issues and processes. This in itself can be helpful, but it can also help us make make decisions about what to do next. Equally it can help with coming to terms with those issues that cannot be changed. I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment with space and time to fully explore your issues, fears, difficulties, choices and opportunities.


It is a big decision, choosing a therapist. It is not unusual to feel anxious about this. I am more than happy to discuss over the phone any questions you may have about the therapy in order to enable you to decide if you would like to arrange an appointment.

I hold a Masters degree in Integrative Psychotherapy. I also hold clinical Diplomas in Counselling and Psychotherapy. My Practice model is based in a Humanistic and relational approach.
