You might be finding yourself feeling low or a bit anxious, sad and maybe lonely. You might be having pressures at work, or with family or your partner and confused about the impact this is having on you. You could be struggling with the loss of someone close or even just fed up feeling something isn't quite right but not sure what to do. My aim is to provide you with somewhere safe and confidential in which to explore the reasons why you decided to seek some support at this time and the initial session will be a place to explore this. It will also provide a space in which to establish what you might like to gain from therapy and how we may work together and how long for.

I hold an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy from Middlesex University and a Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling from the Metanoia Institute. I am accredited with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and a registered psychotherapist with the BACP (MBACP). I have had diverse experience and training in multiple approaches, settings and client groups spread over thirteen plus years. I take an integrative approach to psychotherapy which means I pull upon these various techniques allowing me to tend to individual needs using specific tools the disciplines offer. I work on an open-ended, longer term basis and also a time-limited basis where specific goals and concerns can be focused on. I believe that establishing a safe, trusting and mutually respectful relationship between therapist and client is vital to the outcome of the therapy. I believe in therapy being a collaboration experience between the therapist and client and I am respectful and mindful of the life experience the client brings and how we work with that together.
I am accredited by the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and registered with the BACP (MBACP). In addition to Metanoia I have trained at the Regents College of Psychotherapy and Counselling and advanced training with Cruse Bereavement Care.
