I am a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist qualified to see people twice weekly, a counsellor and supervisor based in Tonbridge, Kent, near Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks.
My therapeutic approaches are psychodynamic and relational.
I offer time space and a relationship to explore whatever concerns you may bring. You may be aware of a deep sense of dissatisfaction or a feeling that life is meaningless. Some may seek psychotherapy when they are aware of long standing or recurrent difficulties in maintaining a relationship. Whatever your reason for seeking therapy through a professional relationship it is possible to explore your earlier experiences and emotions and begin to recognise how some patterns may be repeated throughout your life. As the therapy progresses and you develop a greater understanding and awareness of past issues and patterns it is possible to change the decisions you make in the future
I have been providing therapy in charities in Tunbridge Wells and London since 2000 and have experience of working in the NHS as well as private practice.
As a qualified supervisor registered on the UKCP Supervisory Directory I have experience of supervising across a range of modalities at Bromley Community Counselling Service, at WPFtherapy and within my private practice.
I am available as a training therapist for counsellors, psychotherapists and clinical psychologists.
My professional association is The Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling (FPC) and I am registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC). You may check my membership with these organisations. Each has a complaints procedure and a code of Ethics and Practice to which I am bound.
