About Me

My first, and perhaps most heartfelt training was at the Institute of Psychosynthesis in London, where I embarked upon a deeply psychospiritual journey. Later, I trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy with the Sensorimotor Institute in Dublin, deepening my understanding of the connection between mind body and trauma. Together with my own life experience, these influences have shaped the way I work.

My practice is grounded in an interest in the relationship between our inner world, our relationships, and the challenges of living. I am particularly interested in how separation, loss, ageing, and life's transitions shape our sense of self, and how anxiety can point to unresolved conflicts or aspects of ourselves that have yet to be lived. I see therapy as a collaborative process of exploration, understanding, and growth, supporting people to discover new ways of being and to live with greater authenticity.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

My work is informed by my own aging process and the challenges this naturally brings and the notion of aging 'well'.
I believe there is often a relationship between anxiety and the life not lived—how avoided choices, unrealised potential, and the fear of change can shape our emotional lives.
Much of my focus in on the way our inner world and relationships shape our experience of ageing, life transitions, and personal change.
I am interested in the ways separation and individuation influence psychological development, relationships, and our capacity to adapt to life's transitions and losses.
