My approach is integrative and relational, drawing on my training in humanistic therapies in order to support you in the best way possible. The path from wounding to healing is unique to each of us, and I believe my approach to be an effective way of working through problems by helping you to discover or deepen a connection with yourself.
I offer a safe, supportive and non-judgemental therapeutic space for you to explore in confidence whatever it is that has brought you to therapy. Through establishing a warm, collaborative relationship, I can support you to address the issues you are facing, helping you to feel more able to trust yourself. Working together in this way will allow you to begin the process of change.
To find out more about how I might be able to help you, or to book an initial session, please contact me and I will get back to you as soon as possible. My fee is £85 for a 50 minute individual session. I look forward to hearing from you.
I am a fully qualified and experienced psychotherapist and counsellor, and I am currently offering both in-person and online sessions in central London EC3V 9BJ.
I have worked for several years in private practice with clients presenting with a range of issues. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, issues of identity and belonging, sexual, gender and relational issues, difficulties in self-regulation, bereavement, self-harm and disordered eating. I also have a particular interest in the intersection of relational trauma and neurodivergence - my practice is neurodivergent-affirming. I have several years' experience as a counsellor in the voluntary sector, where I worked with homeless clients and survivors of sexual traumas. Having lived and worked for many years in Italy, I speak Italian to a good level, which may be helpful if you need a therapist who understands the language and culture.
My background is in the arts and education, and I came to retrain as a psychotherapist and counsellor after several years of my own personal therapy. The experience of therapy was transformational for me, and I wanted to be able to offer the potential for positive change to others.
I have an MSc with Distinction in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy and am a Certified Transactional Analyst (CTA). I also have a Postgraduate Diploma in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapeutic Counselling, a Postgraduate Certificate in Counselling using the Arts and a BA (Hons) (1st class) in Fine Art.
My pronouns are she/her.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
