My Approach

I have been qualified in systemic psychotherapy and family therapy since 2018. I am currently specialising in RLT couples therapy through the Relational Life Institute (US).

About Me

More and more, couples want to explore dynamics between them in a therapeutic space to enrich their understanding of each other, feel closer and more connected, and find ways out of stuck patterns. Like many couples in therapy, you may want to improve communication, revitalise intimacy, resolve past grievances and develop your relationship skills. Typically issues that bring couples to therapy will be influenced by your beliefs about intimate relationships, families-of-origin, childhood trauma, parenting preferences and cultural differences.
Therapy together will focus on the changes that you wish to make in your couple relationship and the patterns between you that may have got you stuck. We will work together to change those patterns by focusing on your own adaptations to times of stress and challenge, the skills and resources you bring to the relationship and the differences between you.
I understand how challenging therapy can be, as well as it being an opportunity for growth and connection personally and relationally. I have worked therapeutically for over 10 years across local authorities, the third sector at the Anna Freud Centre and in the NHS. I have trained at the Institute of Family Therapy (UK) and Relational Life Institute (US).
