About Me

I'm passionate about my vocation, working with people to reach their full potential whilst easing discomfort within their life circumstances. I offer warmth and compassion within an accepting and safe environment.

My Approach

I am a trauma-informed Gestalt psychotherapist. I work with the client to access their resources, both in and outside the therapy room, to support them in their here-and-now subjective experience.

I work with

  • Companies
  • Individuals
  • Private healthcare referrals

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I will work with you to identify the underlying cause(s) of anxiety and co-create a plan on how to address these deeper underlying issues. I will support you to increase your ability to access resources when struggling with anxiety.
As a mixed race female therapist, I have a particular understanding of what it is like to belong to minority groups in the UK. I am interested in your subjective experience of being in the world and the difficulties you face, as well as offering space to explore increasing resources to support you in life.
I have extensive experience in this area and am able to hold the complexity of these issues well. I am able to work with the impact of a client's history and the nuance organisational issues.
I believe that relationships are at the core of every difficulty we experience (including our spiritual relationship). I utilise my relationship with the client in order to support them with all of their other relationships.
As a trauma informed therapist (with a post-graduate diploma in Contemporary Trauma Practice) and body-oriented Gestalt Psychotherapist, I have a wealth of knowledge and skills that can be drawn upon to support you to thrive in the world. I have also trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Develpmental Somatic Psychotherapy, which offer ways to work with non-verbal (or pre-verbal) trauma stored in the body.
