My Approach

I am a highly experienced Systemic Psychotherapist trained at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust in London. Alongside my core systemic training, I am a Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) therapist, trained through British Isles DBT, and a specialist trauma therapist utilizing DBT-Prolonged Exposure (DBT-PE).

Alongside my private practice, I hold a position within the National and Specialist CAMHS DBT Team at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM). Here, I work with young people and families navigating severe emotional dysregulation, complex trauma, and acute distress within tertiary NHS mental health services.

In my private practice, I offer specialized therapeutic support tailored to:
Parents and Carers: Supporting parents of children and young people who are experiencing severe emotional distress, behavioural dysregulation, and trauma. I offer systemic and DBT-informed strategies to foster family resilience, stabilize high-arousal environments, and strengthen parent-child dynamics.
Adults: Providing evidence-based, trauma-focused therapy (including DBT-PE) to process traumatic experiences, reduce PTSD symptoms, and build effective emotional regulation skills.
Couples: Working systemically to help partners navigate relational conflict, deepen mutual understanding, and rebuild connection during challenging life transitions or periods of high stress.
My clinical practice integrates the relational depth and contextual focus of systemic psychotherapy with the structured, skill-based framework of DBT and trauma protocols. This enables me to provide compassionate, highly targeted interventions that respect the unique complexities of each individual, couple, and family system.

About Me

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I work with families of young people who experience emotional dysregulation and use self-harm and suicide to manage overwhelming emotional difficulties. I use systemic practice alongside Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), trauma treatment and Attachment Based Family Therapy in my approach to this work.
I work with parents to support them in caring for children and adolescents who are experiencing mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, managing relationships and trauma.
As a Systemic Supervisor trained at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) in London, I offer clinical supervision for therapists and practitioners working with children, young people, and families. Drawing on extensive NHS and private experience, my supervisory practice provides a reflective, systemically informed space to hold complex clinical risk, explore relational dynamics, and enhance systemic formulations. I support supervisees in integrating evidence-based frameworks with relational depth, complex family contexts and trauma.
I am trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy - Prolonged Exposure, which usually accompanies a period of DBT treatment initially to achieve a degree of stability before being exposure and processing work.
