I am a Psychoanalytic psychotherapist (UKCP Reg.) working in private practice in Fitzrovia, London.
I work with a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, addiction, identity issues, relationship issues, work related stress, C/PTSD, trauma, body issues, race, sexuality, and class issues.
I have worked in various residential therapeutic communities/houses with people suffering with severe and enduring mental health difficulties. This work has included individual therapy as well as group work.
Therapy involves speaking about what disturbs us. Through being heard and listening to ourselves, isolation and distress can not only be eased but new ways of being in ourselves and in the world can emerge.
I have seen and experienced the value therapy can offer and the fruitful growth and lasting change it can bring.
The commitment that this process requires is a minimum of one 50-minute therapy session every week on the same day, time, and place. This creates consistency and a therapeutic flow for the work to take place.
