I am an experienced systemic psychotherapist, working with individuals, couples, and families across the life cycle. My work focuses on building collaborative relationships, and supporting people to access their strengths and abilities in the face of significant challenges. I am practiced in working with a broad range of mental health concerns, and have a special interest in the impact of chronic and incurable physical illness, abuse and trauma, and loss and bereavement. I offer regular clinical supervision to professionals from a variety of backgrounds, as well as training, team and project development, and organisational consultation. I also lecture on systemic practice as applied to health, social care, and voluntary sector contexts.
I am an active member of the Refugee Resilience Collective, a group of narrative therapists and psychologists who work to develop resilience for displaced people, NGO staff and volunteers in Calais and Dunkirk, France and in the UK.
I am currently working mostly online, using Zoom.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
