My Approach

I offer a confidential, comfortable and compassionate space to listen to, explore and understand your concerns on a deeper and psychological level. Therapy is a collaborative journey and I value trust and honesty to be at the heart of the therapeutic relationship.
I am an integratively trained therapist drawing on numerous approaches to psychotherapy, and will tailor this to suit your needs. I believe in seeing each individual as a whole person and work from a holistic standpoint incorporating the body, feelings, mind and spirit – aiming to encourage you to develop your relationship with your self, with others and to the external world.
These can include looking at past behaviours and relationships and how these affect you today, or exploring philosophically the meaning you're giving to your current life and how you may wish to develop this. I can help you to explore issues that are bothering you through a different perspective and to help you gain further insight and understanding of your self. Throughout our lives we are constantly evolving and sometimes we need to slow down and explore these in a deeper and more meaningful way, so that we can then take steps forward.
I have extensive experience working within GP practices, NHS services and specifically with pregnancy-related issues all over London - which has enabled me to meet people from all walks of life! I have worked with depression, anxiety, loss and bereavement, relationship issues, pregnancy-related issues (pregnancy loss, birth trauma and infertility to name a few), cultural issues and long-term conditions.
I offer individual in person, online or telephone therapy as well as small support groups specifically for pregnancy loss - if you would like to find out more, please feel free to get in touch!

About Me

We all face hardships and difficulties at points in our lives and it’s not easy owning that we can’t always face this alone, but seeking therapy is a brave step and may be the first needed to initiate change. I believe that therapy can be a life-changing experience to enhance your self-awareness and self-understanding, leading to personal growth and development.
If you currently feel like you’re at a stage where you would like to get help and support, I am here to explore this with you. Are you feeling like you’re behaving in ways that you don’t understand, you’re unable to sleep, or you can’t stop overthinking? Are experiences from the past stopping you from moving forward? Do you struggle with low self-esteem, low self-worth or a lack of confidence?

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I have ample experience in working with anxiety, managing symptoms and working to explore the root underlying cause. I also work to develop and improve self-esteem and self-worth, working towards specific goals and dealing with procrastination.
I have ample experience in working with loss and bereavement.
I have an interest in working with cultural issues, prejudice and discrimination.
I specialise in working with health-related issues and long-term health conditions that have an impact on your emotional wellbeing.
I have specialist experience in exploring with you the assessment of fertility options (such as IVF, surrogacy, donors or adoption), pregnancy-related issues (such as pregnancy loss, high risk-pregnancies or birth trauma), exploring a “child-free” or ”child-less” lifestyle, considering a termination or coping with medical issues affecting fertility or gynaecological health such as endometriosis or PCOS. I also run pregnancy loss support groups online.
