Core Process Psychotherapy is an approach that could be described as "Mindfulness in Relationship". It is about supporting people to slow down and bring embodied awareness to the ways that we shaped by the past and how these patterns play themselves out in the present. I enjoy working alongside people in a way that supports them to develop more confidence in their ability to make creative choices, and live more fulfilling, embodied lives.
I am a UKCP-accredited Core Process Psychotherapist and Supervisor based in Bristol, offering both individual psychotherapy for adults as well as supervision for practitioners working in the field of mental health. I have been practising as a psychotherapist since 2007, working with people in a number of areas. I am also currently on the Teaching Faculty at the Karuna Institute, which offers a full, UKCP-accredited professional training in Core Process Psychotherapy. Please note that, because I am on Faculty, I am not able to work with people who are training at Karuna – or who are considering training – because there would be a conflict of interest. More information about my practice can be found on my website.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
