Relational approaches underpinned by psychodynamic and group analytic modalities. Short and long term depending on your needs.
I initially trained as a Registered General Nurse and then as a Midwife. I became interested in psychology and retrained as a Counselling Psychologist at Teesside University. I was then introduced to Group Analysis and qualified as a Group Analyst with the Institute of Group Analysis in 2016. For 10 years I worked in a Tertiary Psychotherapy Service within the NHS providing individual and group psychotherapy. In October 2021 I changed career direction working 2 days in the NHS providing staff reflection spaces for teams and developed my online private practice.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
