I provide individual, couple and family therapy to adults, adolescents and children challenged by a variety of issues. This may include but is not limited to parenting, relationships, behavioural issues, substance abuse, depression, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, loss, trauma and educational issues.
I enjoy using an integrated strengths based approach which is family and systemically applied to enable a holistic understanding of the issues. I use a wide range of therapeutic modalities but I am particularly interested in solution focused, narrative, expressive, ACT and experiential therapies. I am also trained in EMDR, Gottman method couples therapy and Emotion focused couples therapy.
I am also open to facilitating workshops and group work for professionals, children and parents. I also do marathon couples weekends. As a Social Worker, I have experience of completing expert witness reports, international adoption home studies and assessments on children both in Hong Kong and the UK.
I really love what I do and hope I can support you and your family, one change at a time.
I am a qualified Social worker and Systemic Family Therapist. I have Masters degrees in both Social Work and Systemic Family Therapy. I am originally from the UK but have lived and worked in Dubai, Kenya, Hong Kong and Singapore. Since qualifying in 2014, I have spent the majority of my working life in International schools and private practice. I am currently working part time for CAMHs (Eating Disorders) and part time in private practise. I am currently undertaking a Professional Doctorate in Psychotherapy.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
