I am warm and encouraging and will collaborate with you to explore your therapeutic goals and needs. I will softly challenge you where needs be and help you find your own internal and external resources, with a focus on you creating sustainable change.
Developing a therapeutic relationship and beginning this process can be daunting, I will be patient and we will collaboratively discover what works best for you.
I am a Family & Systemic Psychotherapist who works with individuals, families and couples, I am keen to support young people and young adults navigate their teens, 20s and 30s. Whether that’s growing in self-esteem and confidence, processing difficult current and past experiences, improving romantic, family and peer relationships, helping with anxiety, identity and much more. I want to work with you and help restore hope where you may feel hopeless and create different possibilities for your life.
For the past decade I have worked for multiple local authorities working therapeutically with young people, parents and families, doing both individual and family sessions; supporting those who have experienced complex trauma, relationship breakdown and are in high levels of crisis. Empowering people to look beyond current circumstance, look ahead and strengthen relationships. I have also worked in inpatient and community mental health settings.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
