My Approach

Processwork is a versatile approach that gives me access to a wide range of issues and ways of working. Sometimes in a session we talk like we would in any talking therapy, but we can also use movement, drawing, voice and dreams to work non verbally with altered states of consciousness, or frozen, distant states where talking the experience is hard to put into words or you are not able to find your voice.

About Me

I am a Processwork facilitator and psychotherapist (UKCP registered) and an ICF accredited coach. I have a master’s degree in clinical psychology.

In my private practice I support people in pursuing their own inner sense of development and purpose, in moving through transitions and stuck places, and finding meaning and a way forward.

I work with individuals and relationships (couples, family members, friends, colleagues…) and facilitate groups.

You are welcome whether you are looking for a short-term or long-term commitment or if you just want to try a couple of sessions to see how therapy works for you.

We can work in person in my practice in West London or via zoom / phone.

I work in English, Slovak and Czech.

I grew up in Czechoslovakia in a mixed Czech and Slovak family. I belong to the story of a region in Central Europe with a long turbulent history of many abrupt changes of borders, regimes and forces in power. It is also a place with rich cultural and linguistic diversity. For the past 20 years I have lived in the UK, and for a shorter time (3 years) in the USA. Living within more than one culture, belonging to more than one space, has always been part of my life and has become one of my interests in my practice.

Growing up in a communist dictatorship naturally turned my interests to working with individual, intergenerational and collective trauma; exploring issues of leadership, power and abuse of power; oppression, silence and silencing processes, and dissociative and frozen states.

PW supports me to hold all the different parts of our experience, however disjointed, and value them all. We naturally try to avoid and push out the parts that we find disturbing or uncomfortable and PW gives me tools to go beyond the surface level and find deeper meaning and interconnected patterns in them; to find a grain of gold in even the most impossible of events that can inspire and open up a whole new world for us.
