As a Systemic & Family Psychotherapist, my approach is calming, respectful, collaborative and empowering. I aim to create a safe, self-exploratory and discovery towards positive change. I draw on the individual as well as the family’s cultural stories, spirituality, beliefs and unique resources to co-construct possibilities for a future that is hopeful, successful and fulfilling.
I have over 20 years experience working with children and families, with a specialty in working with children with disabilities and their families. I started my clinical practice as a social working before qualifying as a Systemic & Family Psychotherapist and provided support and therapy to families in an inner sity CAMHS setting.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
