I work from an integrative and collaborative perspective drawing from the various schools of thought. I am also particularly interested in issues around race, culture and identity and the impact that this can have on individuals day to day lives and relationship with the self and others
I have been working in the Mental Health field since 1998 and qualified as a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist in 2012. I am a member of UKCP (United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy as a psychotherapist and a supervisor.
Since qualifying I have worked with both children and adults in Mental Health Services within the NHS and in private practice.
I offer systemic psychotherapeutic sessions to individuals (all ages), families and couples.
I am particularly interested in relationships and an ethos that problems can develop between people rather than reside in the person.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
