My main therapeutic approach is existential (phenomenological and humanistic) but when needed I work integratively combining the philosophy and techniques of other modalities in psychotherapy like person-centered therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy and cognitive analytic therapy.
I am a chartered counselling psychologist, psychotherapist, clinical supervisor and academic who lives and works mainly in Piraeus and Athens, Greece and online. Ι work as an individual, couple and group existential psychotherapist in private practice while i am teaching masters' and doctoral modules at the New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling in London (Middlesex University, partner institute).
I hold a bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in Psychology, a master's degree (M.Sc.) in forensic psychology & criminology and a professional doctoral degree (DCPsych) in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy.
Having the mindset of a lifelong learner I have also attended post-graduate vocational training programs in cognitive analytic therapy, Jungian psychoanalysis, child Psychopathology, child psychology and child psychiatry, adult education teaching, legal Law for social scientists and music studies (Specialist certificate in guitar performance) among others.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
