My approach to psychotherapy has its roots in several techniques and in an ethical position. These influences are person-centred practice, transactional analysis, Gestalt, Cognitive Analytic. My substantive training is in psycho-analytic work. Inevitably I work from an eclectic/ integrative base.
I place at the centre of my work how a client approaches their relationships, life and relationship with self. I offer an individual response which I share collaboratively with a prospective client. Above all i feel that therapy should be gentle, kind and respectful. In my view the relationship we form together is all important.
