I am an integrative, humanistic psychotherapist. This means I've studied a range of different approaches to therapy and my work draws on those different approaches depending on what a client needs. Some examples include: thinking about the therapy relationship and what may be happening between the client and me that helps to understand what's happening in the wider world for the client, paying attention to experiences from the past and how that may be affecting the present, using stories and images to help deepen the work and, of course, offering a safe, confidential and empathic space as the basis for the work.
I have experience of working therapeutically with a range of issues with adults. These include depression, general anxiety and stress, sexuality, disability, domestic violence, physical and sexual abuse, addictions and eating disorders and difficulties at work and in relationships. I have worked with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and different ages. My current fees at £65 for a one-hour psychotherapy session and £75 for supervision
I work near Halesworth in Suffolk and at the Woodbridge Complementary Health Centre. I provide long and short-term psychotherapy and supervision.
I offer online sessions as well as in person.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
