Welcome.
I chose to train as an Integrative Psychotherapist - and therefore in many different therapeutic approaches such as Existential-Phenomenological, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, Humanistic, psychodynamic and CBT, because I do not believe that 'one size fits all' or reflects the complexity of human beings and of their lives. At the end of the day, what matters is what is troubling you at present, and you are a unique individual with your own past and present history, body and mind, cultural, religious and gender differences. Together with an empathic approach, helping you make sense of what is happening, why, and why now is what can empower you to do and live things differently.
I have worked within both private practices and a large GPs' surgery, and have successfully helped clients of different gender, ages and cultural backgrounds for many different reasons, such as anxiety, panic attacks, depression, bi-polarity, relationship issues, bereavement, unresolved trauma.
I have been guest speaker at the Barnet Bipolar Group and run some talks/workshops and Wellbeing groups on mental health issues.
I have lived over 30 years in the UK and my first 21 in France and offer counselling in French too.
